Paulie's real name was Paul Vario, and he was a Capo in the Lucchese Family.
In real life, Paulie was related to Sonny, the owner of the Bamboo Lounge.
He used to call stolen credit cards "Muldoons" and would often ask Henry if he had any that he could use.
In 1984 Paulie entered the Federal Medical Prison in Springfield, Missouri for being a conspirator to fraud. He has since passed away.
